회장 임기를 마치며 먼저 회원 여러분들께 깊은 감사의 인사를 드립니다.
지난 6년 동안 부족한 저를 믿고 함께해 주신 원로 고문 및 자문위원, 저를 도와 kecd 발전에 힘써준 임원들과 회원 여러분들께
진심 어린 고마움을 전합니다. 여러분과 함께한 시간은 제게 값진 배움의 여정이었고 영광스러운 자리들이었습니다.
임기 동안 저는 늘 한 가지 마음을 품고 있었습니다. 우리 kecd가 처음 설립될 당시 가졌던 <실험정신>과 <국제 디자인 교류> 목표를
어떻게 지속적으로 실현하고 발전해야 할지가 가장 고심이었습니다.
이 중에 저는 국제 디자인 교류를 더욱 활성화시켜야겠다는데 목표를 가지게 되었습니다.
2020년 회장이 된 후 <대만국제학생디자인공모전(TISDC)>과의 접촉을 통해 몇 년 동안 끊어졌던 관계를 복원하여
한국 파트너로서 역할을 다하였고 우리 kecd가 30여 년 동안 가입되어 있던 ICO-d를 연결하여
많은 그래픽 디자인 단체와 디자이너들을 연결하였습니다.
이후 우리 협회의 가장 큰 행사인 <트리엔날레 전시회>를 더욱 확장시킬 수 있었습니다.
또한 2021년부터 <대한민국 호국미술대전>을 유치하고 조직, 운영, 심사를 진행하여 협회 회원들의 활동 영역을 넓힐 수 있었습니다.
그리고 저에게는 2023년 중국 디자인 교류 30주년 기념 전시회, 2024년 대만 디자인 교류 50주년 기념 전시회가
아주 의미 있는 행사였습니다. 우리 협회 선배님들이 쌓아온 위대한 역사를 만날 수 있었고
새삼 우리 kecd가 우리나라에서 아주 중요한 협회임을 깨닫게 되기도 하였습니다.
다시 한번 위대한 역사를 만들어내신 kecd 선배님들에게 존경과 감사의 말씀을 드리고 싶습니다.
이제 kecd는 새로운 회장단과 함께 다음 역사의 여정을 시작합니다.
신임 이민형 회장님을 중심으로 kecd는 더욱 단단해지고 더 넓은 시야로 미래를 열어가기를 진심으로 바랍니다.
저는 회장의 자리는 내려놓지만 언제나 kecd의 한 구성원으로 이 길을 응원하며 함께하겠습니다.
임기를 마치는 자리에서 미처 다 전하지 못한 감사의 마음을 이렇게 나마 전합니다.
그동안 함께해 주셔서 진심으로 감사드립니다. 회원 여러분 새해 복 많이 받으시고 행복한 나날 되시기 바랍니다.

At the end of my term as chairman, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the members first.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the senior advisors and advisors who have trusted and
supported me over the past six years, the executives and members who have worked hard to develop KECD.
The time I have spent with you has been a valuable learning journey and an honor for me.
During my term in office, I always had one mind.
The most difficult thing was how to continuously realize and develop the <Experimental Spirit> and
<International Design Exchange> goals that we had when KECD was first established.
Among them, I had a goal to further activate international design exchanges.
Soon after becoming chairman in 2020, he worked with the Taiwan International Student Design Contest (TISDC) to
restore a relationship that had been broken for several years, serving as a Korean partner, and connected many graphic
design organizations and designers by connecting ICO-d, which Woori kecd has been subscribed to for more than 30 years.
Since then, we have been able to expand our association's biggest event, the Triennale Exhibition.
In addition, from 2021, we were able to expand the scope of activities of the association members by
hosting the Korea Patriotic Art Exhibition and organizing, operating, and screening.
And for me, the 30th anniversary exhibition of the Chinese design exchange in 2023 and the 50th anniversary exhibition of
the Taiwan design exchange in 2024 were very meaningful events.
I was able to meet the great history of our association seniors
and I realized that KECD is a very important association in Korea.
Once again, I would like to express my respect and gratitude to the seniors of kecd who have made great history.
Now kecd begins his next journey of history with a new chairman.
With the new chairman Lee Min-hyoung at the center, I sincerely hope that kecd will become stronger and
open the future to a broader perspective.
I put down my position as chairman, but I will always support and be with you as a member of kecd.
At the end of my term, I would like to express my gratitude that I have not yet delivered.
